CuciOtak Company

CuciOtak are a theatre company located in area of former conflict, Pasuruan in Indonesia. The company consist of over ninety members made up of Christian and Muslim Youth. Through traditional contempoary practice CuciOtak incorporate martial arts and physical theatre into there performances to maintain and increase a knowledge of Indonesian Culture.

As part of the application process for Contacting the World we asked companies to go somewhere different and collaborate with someone new. This is what CuciOtak did.

CuciOtak activity aimed to train the mental and psychological level to find out more our members. It was over for two days, collaborating with three lecturers and an artist from Pasuruan City, Mr. Rohadi, Mr. Kaji Karno, and Mr. Ahmad Rosidi. This activity was delivered to ninety cuciotak members and fifteen young people will be chosen to participate in CTW 2010 in Manchester.
