10p Mix Up is a collection of young artists from Manchester developed at Contact from a range of different backgrounds and experiences.  Through Contacting the World 10p Mix Up plan to explore the idiosyncrasies of today’s culture and hope to create a genre bending piece of theatre.  Having all experienced CTW 2008 they can’t wait for the adventure of participating in CTW 2010 to begin!

As part of the application process for Contacting the World we asked companies to go somewhere different and collaborate with someone new. This is what 10p Mix Up did.

10p Mix Up created a conga line as part of the closing event for an artist showcase at a local theatre. They then took the conga to the streets of Manchester and got local people to join in with the artists to dance the night away.
