The building is silent…no more drums, footsteps of over 200 pairs of feet or spontaneous bursts of singing and performance. The CTW and Contact team would like to bid this year’s companies a fond farewell and say a big thank you for giving us a week of beautiful, outstanding performances, for sharing your boundless energy and for always aiming high.

On Sunday 25th July CTW 2010 will take to the streets with a celebratory carnival in Manchester City Centre. The event will be an exploration of colour, dance and energy, featuring performances from CTW companies who will join with Urban Moves International Dance Festival.

The workshop explored the connections to people we have never met using poetry, dance, song and music.

The companies have arrived and Contact is a hive of cultural activity with performances throughout the day and particpant workshops. CTW has also invaded Manchester University with public workshops, street performance rehearsals, CIF and the Leadership Summit.
